I'm a marketing operations specialist who helps lean teams build efficient systems that drive real impact. For the past five years, I've worked with startups, nonprofits, and sports organizations to streamline their marketing operations, automate workflows, and prepare for the AI-powered future of search.
Currently based in Chicago. Available for project work, retainer partnerships, full-time opportunities or a friendly chat.
Let's Talk
I didn't start in marketing with the intention of becoming a systems builder. Like a lot of people, I started by just doing the work: running campaigns, managing email lists, juggling multiple tools that didn't talk to each other.
But I kept noticing the same pattern everywhere I worked: smart, mission driven teams drowning in manual work. Hours spent on tasks that could be automated. Great content buried because it wasn't structured for discovery. Tools purchased but never fully implemented. Teams stretched so thin they couldn't think strategically because they were too busy just keeping up.
That's when I realized my real value wasn't just in executing campaigns, it was in building the systems that let teams do more with less.
At Innovation DuPage, I managed a team of interns while overhauling our marketing strategy and tech stack to streamline internal and external communications. At Madak, I juggled 4-5 clients simultaneously, managing everything from website builds to 300,000+ subscriber email campaigns while implementing strategic systems that ensured consistent execution and measurable results.
Now, I help lean teams navigate the intersection of traditional marketing operations and emerging AI technology. Because the teams who figure out how to show up in AI-powered search, while automating the busy work, are the ones who'll thrive in the next decade.
I don't believe in building systems for the sake of systems. Every project starts with the same question: What can we do right now to make your life easier?
We find quick wins - the automations, fixes, or optimizations that create immediate relief for your team. Then we use that breathing room to build the strategic foundation you need to scale.
Quick wins prove value. They build trust and create momentum. Strategic foundations create lasting change. They're what separate one-time improvements from systems that compound over time.
The best marketing system in the world is worthless if your team can't use it.
That's why everything I build comes with documentation, training, and a focus on empowerment. I'm not trying to create dependency, I'm trying to make you self-sufficient.
My goal is to build systems so intuitive that you rarely need me after launch (though many clients stick around because there's always more to optimize).
We're living through a fundamental shift in how people discover information. AI-powered search is changing the game, and nobody has all the answers yet.
That means the best approach isn't to wait for "best practices" to emerge, it's to build solid foundations that let you experiment quickly and learn what works for your organization.
I help you create the structure to test, measure, and iterate without blowing up your budget or burning out your team.
I genuinely love the problem-solving aspect of marketing operations. There's something satisfying about taking a messy, inefficient process and turning it into something elegant that just works.
But more than that, I care about who I'm helping.
Startups trying to compete with limited resources. Nonprofits doing critical work with shoestring budgets. Organizations with missions that matter, held back by marketing operations that don't.
These teams deserve systems that work as hard as they do. That's what drives me.
5+ years in marketing operations across nonprofit, trade, sports, and startup sectors.
When I'm not building marketing systems, you'll find me at the pool table. I'm a decent player and genuinely love the strategic, focused nature of the game - which probably says something about why I gravitate toward systematic thinking in my work.
I also believe strongly in owning your digital presence. Social media platforms are great for distribution, but relying on them as your home base is risky. Algorithms change, platforms die, and you're always one policy shift away from losing your audience.
That's why I built this site - not just as a portfolio, but as my digital studio. A place I control, where I can share both professional work and personal interests without platform limitations.
You can explore more of my personal projects, interests, and experiments in the Personal Hub section of this site (coming soon).
Whether you're a startup trying to scale, a nonprofit maximizing impact with limited resources, or a hiring manager looking for a marketing operations specialist who thinks strategically - I'd love to chat.
